In a letter sent to her House colleagues Sunday afternoon, San Fran Nan thought it would be a terrific idea to compound her lies alleging President Trump is somehow “defunding” and “dismantling” the U.S. Postal Service by refusing to pour an extra $27 billion down that particular rathole by adding the age-old Democrat hustle of scaring the old folks about Social Security.
Her letter, which is posted as a press release on her website, reads as follows, “The Postal Service is a pillar of our democracy, enshrined in the Constitution and essential for providing critical services: delivering prescriptions, Social Security benefits, paychecks, tax returns and absentee ballots to millions of Americans, including in our most remote communities.”

In fact, between 2011 and 2016, there were roughly 14,000 USPS mailboxes removed, which was during the Obama-Biden administration.
A 2009 Washington Post article stated, “In the past 20 years, 200,000 mailboxes have vanished from city streets, rural routes and suburban neighborhoods – more than the 175,000 that remain.”
“The U.S. Postal Service says it removes ‘underperforming’ mailboxes – those that collect fewer than 25 pieces of mail a day – after a week-long ‘density test,’” the report read, echoing what Frum said last week.
Because of the hysteria over the relocated mailboxes, the USPS said they would not remove any boxes until after the election.
“We are not going to be removing any boxes,” USPS spokesman Rod Spurgeon told NBC News. “After the election, we’re going to take a look at operations and see what we need and don’t need.”
However, it wasn’t only mailboxes that were on the chopping block during the Obama-Biden administration, 3,653 post offices were targeted to be shut down, according to a 2011 Washington Post article.

Same with unemployment checks. Nobody has gotten a check in years. It is either direct deposit into a bank account or you get a debit card. Same for welfare checks.

It should also be pointed out that in Minneapolis alone, 3 Post Offices were burned to the ground during the rioting. So, if the dems are so concerned about mailboxes, how come they didn’t condemn the burning down of Post Offices.
