The Department of Justice (DOJ) is exploring whether federal charges could be imposed on officials in Portland, Oregon, where violent and deadly riots have continued mostly unchecked for more than three months, Fox News reported.

The outlet reported that while the exploration was part of the agency’s oversight of the city’s response to the ongoing unrest, DOJ could not confirm that it was investigating Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan (D) for allowing an area of her city to be walled off and occupied:

The spokeswoman also did not confirm whether DOJ officials were focusing on specific city officials. The office of Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler did not immediately respond to a Fox News request for comment...

These state and local officials violate the civil rights of their citizens by failing to protect them and to enforce the law. Prosecute them! Also, it seems to me that the local and state law enforcement officers (being SWORN law officers) should arrest any local or state officials who clearly are endangering the public, violating the law and are neglecting their duties, to the harm of the public.

Do they not realize they’ve destroyed any tourism and new business from moving in?

Charge the DA and Mayor with a conspiracy to deny civil rights.

Ordinary citizens are being denied the protection of their rights for which the government is established.

They have broken the social contract and operating without consent of the governed.

Charge the maggot mayor, the maggot DA and toss in the maggot governor as well since she is just as culpable.
