Speaker Pelosi says that she does not think there should be any presidential debates between President Trump and Joe Biden:
"I wouldn't legitimize a conversation with him."

They’re afraid Joe might pull something worse than Hillary’s side of beef toss into the van.
I don’t trust either of the sources, CNN or White House Republicans, most of whom hate Trump.
Massive stuttering followed by “Come on, man!”. The public needs to see this!
Regardless of the game the democrats are playing, it sickens me that Pelosi’s statements are so absolutely outrageous verging on insanity or at least are completely undemocratic and and unAmerican and yet it’s accepted as though she’s not a complete disgrace.
Saying you shouldn’t have a presidential debate because the president will lie and you are legitimizing him.
Uh he is the president, nothing to legitimize. As for calling each other liars, that’s the candidates’ job.
She’s assuming Joe can hold a conversation? lol
She changed her mind again? What little mind she has, that is.
He has less than 4 days. If you ask me, it is way too late to run and hide.
If he drops out on the eve of his debate with Trump, it will be blatant admission that he can’t stand up to the man or the issues to discuss. The closer we get, the more obvious this will appear.
There setting the stage for a no show. They can’t keep him upright and talking for that long.
My imagined scenario: Biden drops his trousers on stage, and his campaign people are like “Oh man he dropped his trousers again, we knew it was going to happen.”

I’ve been saying for months now that there will be no debate. The last-minute pullout will occur within days. Sunday night would be a good time.

And Trump’s response SHOUD be:
“ms. harris, Mr. Pence
Mr. Pence, ms. harris
HAVE AT IT!”
Then withdraw from the conversation or leave the venue.
Presidents (or POTUS candidates) do NOT debate VP candidates.
Debate practice is apparently not going well.
