How Convenient! COVID-19 Narrative is Suddenly Shifting
The Liberty Loft ^ | February 20, 2021 | Seth M. Griffin

...If anyone tells you faith in government isn’t fickle, please run away from them as they don’t speak the truth. Anytime a Republican president and/or administration is in charge, Democrats assert that the government not only can, but must solve every issue every time. For example, Republican presidents are supposed to know how to stop tornadoes and hurricanes from hitting the country. However, the assertion changes the second a Democrat takes over. There’s justification that there’s much they can do about anything. Democrats are like leaves in the wind. They’re at the mercy of the uncontrollable forces that exert upon them.

...Too often, the government can’t do much about certain problems but having a ‘D’ or an ‘R’ at the end of your name depends on the reaction. Particularly relating to COVID, there was never any time nor was there ever going to be anytime time President Donald Trump could have been able to ‘make’ the right call that would significantly change the course of the virus according to the Left...

Many Republicans tried to make that very point for much of the last year. It was met with derision and claims of wanting to kill grandma.

The second Joe Biden took office it suddenly became acceptable to believe and push a narrative he couldn’t do much. Moreover, it’s hard to ignore how convenient that is...

Everything they are doing is simply a continuation of Donald Trump’s work, including the escalation of vaccine distribution which was begun under the former president...Biden doesn’t have to take responsibility for anything because the press doesn’t demand it. It’s quite the racket they have going. But aren’t you really happy we don’t have to deal with mean tweets anymore?....

The numbers of people who never read a single one of Trump's tweets but thought they were awful based on hearsay is staggering.

Of course, they are the same people who don't know many other things.

Loved President Trump’s twitter. The exposure of so much wrongdoing, wrong thing and corruption was epic.

I’ve said there will be college courses one day on nothing but his tweets. It should be a patriotic course too.

Just like those leftists who never listened to Rush Limbaugh but call him an angry racist.

Ya, the “improvement curves” all take a sharp break on the eve of the Biden Inauguration?

Remember how the Obama-Biden administration had an absolute answer to all complaints; "It is Bush's Fault". They used it for almost all of both presidential terms AND the watchdog media just blinked and went back to sleep! Well folks, I know what the next four year refrain is and I guarantee (oh I miss Justin Wilson) we will be heartily sick of that echo (BushTrump)!

Less than 1/100 read any of the articles posted on this site, yet they will fall over themselves proclaiming their great wisdom and insight as they exercise their daily “de-bunking” of article after article with deep single-sentence, monosyllabic insights like “Trump is rude!” or “I found gold in my nose!”

They are incapable of deep thought and rigorous logic, cannot hold more than one logical premise in their mind at one time, and are completely oblivious to fact. They believe everything they are fed by mainstream media and sit all day arguing that there is no way they can be fooled and that if there were any truth to anything the mainstream media does not say, they would have heard about it!!

Worst, most of them are older an were supposedly educated when schools were worth a damn.

You two must have psychic powers!

Just these last few days, right after Rush Limbaugh's death, a boyhood buddy of mine with whom I am "friends" on Facebook has been repeatedly posting the most-vulgar cartoons imaginable about Mr. Limbaugh. When I called him on it, he justified his postings by referring to Mr. Limbaugh's "unconscionable" (not his word) mockery of AIDS victims.

When I pointed out that more context would be needed to properly assess Mr. Limbaugh's behavior (Were, for example, the AIDS victims he mocked militant homosexual advocates of reckless behavior - who would have been, so to speak, "fair game?"), my friend provided a link - to a Snope article that merely paraphrased Mr. Limbaugh's behavior, characterizing it as "hateful" and "spiteful," and concluding that the accusation of "homophobia" was "factual."

That, of course, is still only hearsay.

He still hasn't produced the actual transcript of the allegedly offensive radio broadcast - but remarked that Mr. Limbaugh had later expressed his "regret," as though that proved that he was guilty of anything.

It is amazing to consider that my friend had firmly embraced a stance (labelling Mr. Limbaugh as a despicable low life) based, not upon his own review of first-hand evidence (the transcript), but rather upon the subjective characterization of a secondary source.

Indeed, that seems about par for the course for liberals.

Regards,

I am slowly coming around to your point of view.

It's devastating, but I suspect that I will eventually have to accept that the overwhelming majority of my liberal / Democrat friend and acquaintances and, yes, even family members are indeed "trapped" in an endless loop of fallacious thinking - and perhaps even "non-thinking."

Regards,

Most everybody knows the truth, including those pushing the falsehoods and those repeating them.

What matters is that the virus situation is improving.

The downfall of this country leads directly to media. Until they are taken down, it will, continue. They have no fear, morals or honesty and exist solely for the purpose of protecting the elitists.

You won’t last long?

What an excellent and valuable insight you have contributed to this thread!

Just doing your daily drive-by? Trying to discourage those you identify as “newbies”? You should try to post something that contributes to the thread. Maybe agree or disagree and then try to state cogent and compelling arguments and evidence in support or against. Instead we get crystal ball gazing as you honk out your predictions about my past and future. LMAO.

Like I said to other thread minders like you: each time you do it, you should post a meme of you kicking Jim Robinson in the balls with a giant cartoon boot. Yes your busy-body thread-minding crap drives people AWAY.
