Haven’t seen any black lesbian elves. All the elves are white; its the hobbititiz and the dwarfs that have blacks.
But sometime during the first 15 minutes of Episode 1, I was hoping their would be a huge battle and all the characters would be killed off in a blaze of glory. Then with Episode 2, we could start over with a new cast, new script, new writers, and new actors that could actually act.
Well, Amazon rakes in the cash anyway even if no one watches if they don’t lose subscribers over it.

They’re so stupid. They still haven’t figured out that woke makes for broke.
They wokified Tom Clancy’s work too. Absolute garbage. What’s really a shame is the conservators of literary masterpieces are so willing to sell out to an entity (Amazon) that they know will deface the source material.
Though they weren't perfect, I loved the first three movies, and I've read LOTR, the Hobbit, and the Silmarillion more times than I can count.

Watched it and it wasn’t bad. Not great, but not bad. The story was a little slow, but the series is just starting. It should improve. Visually it’s really good.
And I’m a huge Tolkien fan. Read the Hobbit for the first time in sixth grade, and the Lord of the Rings in eighth grade (1979). I’m as picky as they come when it comes to Middle-earth, and it was OK.
I’ll pass on Lord of the Woke..

I watched Episode One
On one hand it was very average. Lazy even.
On the other hand, it is not actual Tolkien but more of a reboot. And not a very good one.

My mom, who has never picked up a fantasy book in her life, decided to watch because it was advertised so much.
Let's just say, she did not care for it and leave it at that.
