The guitar work on Big Log was incredible. Robbie Blunt. I should have made this “Led Zep or Solo career” but didn’t want too long a title.

"Three very talented guys with creative minds and a high-octane sound made some very fine music." So...who was the untalented fourth guy?

I suspect few people will answer with ‘Stairway’... how many thousands of times can you take in a song? That being said, it is a beautiful work. I love how those drums come crashing in mid-song.

I saw Led Zeppelin at their June 3, 1977 concert at Tampa Stadium. They played three songs (The Song Remains The Same, (The Rover intro) Sick Again, Nobody’s Fault But Mine) and then it started pouring rain. The show was stopped and postponed until the next day, but a riot started (actually a mini riot) and the whole thing was cancelled. I didn’t start the riot. I swear it wasn’t me.

Their cover of "Nobody's Fault But Mine"--just for the build-up to the end.
The track cuts out. Plant's voice only: "N-n-n-n-nooooo body's fault--" DRUMS!

And the big, honking 26 minute version of Dazed and Confused on the live album.

In college, I did a Jazz show on the radio station. Did that for 3 years. Some dude would call in every time I was on hollering, "Play some Zeppelin!".
There are some Jazz versions of Zeppelin songs, but they are few and far between.
Guy after me did a Classic Rock show, so I always suggested he start off with some Zeppelin.

Not correct I think - Page wrote the song after Harrison wondered why they didn’t have any ballads.
I believe Page wrote this to his wife after the death of their teenage son, though this is not confirmed.
Still, it’s the best Zepplin song ever.

Oops! It's early out here and I'm only on my first cup!
I think it better if I delay posting until I'm mentally awake and aware. Thanks!

I canโt leave you baby, but gotta put you down for a while.
Got in major trouble in Yeshiva for listening to the album just for that track.

I believe they wrote that song as a joke, making fun of it.
They were shocked it was a hit.

Ten Years Gone is a great song. I am a fan of his solo work in the 90’s. Fate of Nations is a great album.
