Yeah yeah yeah, we know, we shouldn't encourage such immaturity in the House because of reasons and stuff but OMG, the more we learn about Mike Johnson the more we like our new Speaker of the House. Sure, there is a video going around that is over three years old where he was following along the same talking points that were EVERYWHERE after George Floyd died but knowing there is no such thing as the perfect politician, we'll take him.

This FR adulation needs to throttle down.
We have not seen him refuse to forward Ukraine money to the floor. We have not seen him refuse to forward the CR to the floor. We have not seen him give marching orders to appropriations committees to get the individual spending bills to the floor, thereby refusing all future Omnibus bills.
Those three items are essentially moderate. And he hasn’t even done those.
Associated with the brief video- which was during “impeachment 1” are this Constitutional attorney’s comments on the absolute takedown of Schiffty’s bullcrap “case”. A takedown which was done in two hours of cross exam. Jim Jordan and others. People forget how ridiculous that was, and the one after Trump left office— was managed by Alcee Hastings!! Impeached and Senate convicted for bribary former federal judge. Dead now- good riddance.

I know not all these sites are the same, but with many of them, you click through, scroll unnecessarily far (to load more inline ads), have to click again, and then you are lucky if any video actually shows, so you have to refresh. I guess I’m getting crotchety and remember when the internet wasn’t all click trickery

Amen! You are right on. I won’t go to a lot of sites because I get tired of “pausing” videos I didn’t want or need to see that are covering up the article I went to the site to read. John Soloman’s site is like that. I like John but hate his website. Too busy and full of ads.

That is bothering me too. Too many folks spamming “middleman” blogs and sites that are not the original source and only have an excerpt and forwarding link to the original source.
It is deceptive to try and force traffic through a middleman site that does not actually have the original source content. I don’t like having to link through two or more sites before finally getting to the content or video.
Those situations were when Humble Gunner was right...
