Hillary's infomercial (written by one of her former speechwriters) scored a 10.9 rating/16 share. (Translation: 10.9% of American households watched the show last night.)

We'll see what happens...I think it depends on how "preachy" and political it is. My guess is that most people are tired of the political stuff. There are many times people turn in for the new show...especially one as hyped as this one...only to leave it.

Yeah. If anyone thinks there is no bigger motive behind putting this crap out than to just make money...they are fooling themselves.

I had it on for about 2 minutes (only because I couldn't figure out what it was).

Scene I saw: Geena Davis leaning over dying president(?). Asks him does he want her to resign. He said "Yes" because the next in line had the same ideas and plan as the dying pres.

I turned it, but since she ends up as POTUS, my guess is she went back on her word like a true liberal, so there is some reality in it!

Dang... West Wing II, expect 5+ years of this tripe. They had the Clinton I years, now they skip Bush and go straight for their 'fantasy liberal' Hillary years.

blech.

Funny I was watching the Firefly marathon, I figure we already had a female president her name was wilson and the second one was named roosevelt.

Nothing new with a female president, but a libertarian space crew that is fighting the alliance aka the federation, can't be all bad.

I must confess to having watched it. I wanted to see if it was as awful as our local TV reviewer described.

And we was right!

Next week, it is back to House.

Looks like episode 2 of th every good 'My Name is Earl' got its arse kicked. Not surprising, they promoted the heck out of 'CoC.'

Watch for Earl to get good word of mouth and momentum, though. It's the best tv comedy to come along in a while.

That's what I was going to say - it was written by one of Hillary's people - and I think people were curious. It actually wasn't bad .. but that's how they do it .. they start out where people are comfortable and over time they warp into something else.

The final speech was amazing. I could never imagine Hillary saying such things .. and even if she did .. I'm confident I wouldn't believe she meant what she was saying.

We will see how popular it is after several weeks. ABC hyped the show for weeks including putting Geena Davis on Monday Night Football. It is not hard to understand that the show's debut would attract viewers. Now comes the hard part--keeping them interested.

ABC dumped a fortune on this POS- billboards, etc. Say, didn't Ladybird Johnson ban billboards?

"the titular White House honcho"

Can you even say that on television?

Remember this, the best way to kill this show is to say that the main character is based on Condi Rice.

The electorate might not be ready for a female President, but TV viewers sure are.

One show does not a smash hit make.

Let's see if this headline still applies in 3 weeks.

I, for one, watched it out of pure curiosity. Just like when the circus is in town, a lot of people might stop to say howdy to the bearded lady and the siamese twin midgets but the people are really there to see the acrobats and lion tamers.

I am ready for a woman President and will vote for the first female candidate, that is best qualified and not a pro-abortion anti-male, anti-family, anti-American, lesbian.

I don't watch TV shows, based upon some dip sh*t Hollywood writer/producer's twisted view of reality.

I do watch and applaud the end of Thelma and Louise every chance I get now, since I learned the political persuasion of Gina's co-star, whats her name. I do feel a little guilty that Geena perishes with her. But she should be more careful in her choice of friends.

I'm not ready to cast a vote for Geena, though, and I'll never be ready to cast a vote for Hillary.
