I think it’s from the movie which was supposed to have been released BEFORE the inquest actually started. I kinda figured Howard would send a copy to every eligible juror in the Bahamas.

True, we don’t know what his whole story is. I know he lives off his parents, I would say that is a leech life for anyone his age. I don’t change the rules for ‘sides’. I don’t feel a need to defend him. Young doesn’t stay young forever. He had years to try and not be an absent father. Visitation in the courts has been a successful option for years for anyone that choses to love their child, not to just walk away.
Domineering or not, it was the easy route he took. No support pymnts, no anna hassles. My guess is his family was only too happy to leave it at that too. Many take the ‘easy’ way out. I can understand it, but will be damned if I can excuse it. We have a nation of children parents fail everyday. Excuses won’t change their pain. Every adult that played a part in that pain is responsible.
I am sure there are many with regrets. Some probably dreamed Danny would one day walk into their life. How often we go with the flow of life, and then it is too late. Sad, but still too late. He died with no one at his side to protect of love him.
Legal and the heart don’t mix well often in law.
Right or wrong, high or straight, ans was his custodial mom. Regardless of influences and ‘emoitions’, I respect her legal right as that mom to make the burial decision vs an absent Dad. If he hadn’t done anything in 20 yrs he obviously wasn’t prepared to do anything. It isn’t like he didn’t have time. ANS did leave the kid on a cold slab for a month. Kinda late to fight for the body now when no one wanted to fight for him when he was alive is my feeling to be honest. Poor Danny, even his dead body is being used as a pawn. How sad.
Billy did know. Someone saw it on tv and told him. He could barely put two sentences together on the phone and it was clear he didn’t have any hearts desire of his own.
With all it’s flaws, I repsect our Justice system as a whole. In that system, Billy or Daniel was not the case before the court. I don’t believe a tit4tat, lets do wrong because Seildlin is a crook. If we don’t honor our system anymore than he did.. we become like the very thing we reject. Where would the disgrace stop if good people don’t refuse to be like them?
How was hks given preference over Billy?
The case was Anna’s body not Danny’s. Why would ANY exhusband have any say when the blood mother is sitting right there? Thank God the law doesn’t dilute Virgies rights, or any mother’s rights with some wish of an exhusband. If hks was the exhusband would it have then been any less of an injustice to Virgie than it was?
FL was not about Danny’s body. Twisting it into something about Daniel was HKS’s sick trick.

We the people have power but perhaps Perper’s ‘dumb voters’ insult is more accurate. I don’t see the media saying the Gov’s office was flooded w/ letters of outrage, with requests to investigate, calls for an independant autospy review, or remove this man from his ‘appointed’ position. The old fashioned hard copy remains the People’s best voice but .. how many took the time of effort to be heard?

A funeral home had embalmed the son’s remains and was awaiting further instructions from the family Tuesday.

It did seem, however, that the legal standing in Seidlin’s Florida court (i.e. blood relatives)for mothers,grandmothers, fathers - was removed in favor of ‘non-husbands’, ‘sperm donors’ and ‘live in lawyers’ who had a pecuniary interest in the disposition of the bodies of two US citizens in foreign graves.
Yes, there was even a funeral home hks hired in CA.
But, influenced or not, it was ans decision. I will never believe that she didn’t have the final say.
I think ans and hks both played a part in changing is burial. However, if ANS didn’t want him in the Baha’s, he wouldn’t be there. It was her own selfish reasons or Daniel would be in CA today. She is not free of responsibility in that decision. She could function enough to get party dresses and designer funeral outfits, go to her KFC party and interviews. As usual, the only one that mattered in ANS mind was Anna. Howard’s influence and drugs was not the deciding factor. It was ANS running from the laws to the Bahamas.
It might have been Shelley’s original ‘tip’ but the snake in the grass hissing is hks. Ron’s a high paid mobster if you ask me. Might be Ron’s influence, his ‘off shore’ knowledge and experience, his own pockets being lined for sure but no evidence he was near the weapon .. KE and HKS’s prints are all over that ‘gun’.
Unless KE comes up against criminal charges and is looking at federal time, I don’t think that smirk will be wiped off her face. And, it is going to take a lot more than her ‘word’ to take him down. Her ass is the one in hot water. He could say she is just trying to save her own neck. He already told us where his is going with that crap. “I am not a doctor”. He usually gives a hint where he is headed and that was one of his hints. It would be right too. She is the “doctor”. I think hks is smart enough to make sure KE was his patsy and I doubt he trapped himself by letting her know much that could hang him for murder.
I don’t see anyone arrested in all these months. Her part was not that cloudy. She should have been behind bars long ago and isn’t. Feds could have had her from the get go, they didn’t. FL should have nailed her and didn’t. Now one more.. CA narcs might actually do it.. I am not holdig my breath.

The world barely noticed, giggled and moved on. They saw a name, Anna Nicole and looked no further. Most complained ANS was nobody, was taking up too much time from ‘real’ news. Fact is, while witnessing our American justice system’s erosion into a mockery, a shear satire, the nation saw only a story about a dead stipper preempting their time.
Then CBS rewards such injustice and mockery! You know anyone that was so outraged they took the time, to a stand and actually wrote their outrage to CBS? See any Americans protesting w/ a CBS black out? Oh Gosh, lets not get fanatical.. couldn’t miss Big Brother, what good would that do? Did Simon and Schuster sales drop suddenly? Parents taking a stand and dumping their kids Aladdin books in a fire pit? Heck, if they printed a book tomorrow on this case there would be a line up showing approval by dishing out cash.
CBS SIGNED the jerk. They know americans as a whole are as selfish as Anna. You think they aren’t going to back their investment with corporate dollars? One sporting event will take care of those bucks. And how many that complain will be the first to tune in then hit the boards to rant for selfish gratification or go on to support CBS if they were to telecast the Superbowl tomorrow?
We have become millions of Seidlin supporters in many ways. The information society. Might miss Letterman and that just won’t do.

My prayers to your and your family. My mother has Alzheimer’s, but we have care givers that stay with her, that too is a blessing. I see her almost every day but I could not do what you are doing.
I have 3 brothers of which two refuse to personally help out with mom, but have added money to mom’s care account. Anyway, GOD bless you, give you strength, and patience.

ewww....I haven’t been following your computer woes very closely, but I’ve had THAT problem before...twice...when my computer was hacked after spending a lot of time at CTV. I literally had to buy a new computer after the Michael Jackson trial. Hope yours gets resolved!!
Ted Gunnderson, the retired FBI agent who allegedly says that Anna’s death needs to be investigated also appears to have worked on the Jeffrey McDonald case. I was watching 48 hours Mystery tonight when it mentioned him. I think I’ll see if I can find out more about him.

I saw it Liz...he’s down right scary. I wonder what his real involvement was or if he ‘confessed’ to take the focus off of the Ramsey’s. He kept saying how bad he felt for them. It’s a strange case & a strange man.
Speaking of strange, I was just reading the thread here about Vicks and the dogfighting. Made me ill. But I never ever thought I would run into anyone here who actually condones it. KE said she had been giving Anna morphine, but I don’t recall seeing that on Perper’s list either. I have yet to hear of any diagnosis of any condition that would warrant the use of so many drugs, must less morphine.
