a recent documentary on the Discovery Channel laid bare the untold story of the secretive religion at the heart of fascist GermanyBe advised that the Discovery Channel, like the "History" Channel, cannot be considered a credible source. They both are more than willing to parlay fiction into ratings.
That having been said, it has been public knowledge since the late 1930's that the Nazi party sought to elevate Hitler to divine levels. There was a project for example to re-write the Bible to conform to Hitler's life and point to him as the Messiah of Biblical prophecy. That it may have had Satanic coloring should be no great surprise.

This aspect of Naziism, its occultic underpinnings, has only begun to receive serious attention in the last few years. In line with that, the Rev Richard Wurmbrand wrote a book called Marx & Satan in which he argued Communism was grounded in Satanism, and given its history and its practices, I find that a not unreasonable assertion. And for those of you who wonder who the heck Richard Wurmbrand is and why we should pay any attention to him, I suggest you do a search for his name or read the Wikipedia article.
