Barack Obama has only four years to save the world. That is the stark assessment of Nasa scientist and leading climate expert Jim Hansen who last week warned only urgent action by the new president could halt the devastating climate change that now threatens Earth. Crucially, that action will have to be taken within Obama's first administration, he added. ...

It’s hard to out-goof Algore, but you’re right.
Be afraid. Be very afraid. BO’s gonna take this guy seriously.
why does Hansen even have a job? He ain’t qualified to flip burgers
Hansen knows Obama is a one termer.....
.....He doesn't want the opportunity to go to waste.
As Rahm said, "you don't want a good crisis to go to waste"....
He was just looking at the Mayan calendar and not giving credit.
What a great thing to run for re-election on...saved the world.
The herd is getting backed into the corner and the gate is about to open. On the other side of the gate is a cliff and America is about to fall to it’s death.
You’ve got to love the timing... we’re experiencing the coldest winter in decades. Right in the middle of a storm, a town in Wisconsin passed a measure about cutting down trees, etc, to guard against Global Warming. I have never thought the other side really had brains... this is documentable proof... they are about as stupid as a brick wall.
Failing that, they will somehow be layed at the feet of BUSH or the GOP.
After four long years we will wake up and no longer recognize our country. Our once proud REPUBLIC will have morphed into a Democrat SOCIALIST state with Obamamania gearing up for another four years.
Lord help us!!
This cracks me up......for the next few weeks, I'll be cutting around a thousand "junk" trees(mulberry, hackberry, cottonwood, etc. from pinkie finger size up to 30")with an excavator mounted saw, piling them in huge piles and burning them. 3-4 days from live trees to ashes.
I like to think that I'm a treehuggers worst nightmare. My carbon footprint is off the charts!
And the best part...... we get paid by the local government, via property taxes, to do it.
Man those things are awesome! It must be a blast to operate. Wouldn't want to get too close though.
I’ve seen it throw pieces the size of a baseball bat over 200 feet.
Totally brutal and violent destruction of foliage. Can take down a 15” tree in about a second.
It IS a lot of fun to run. Climate controlled, soundproof cab, decent stereo. This week, I’ll just bounce around the oldies stations and sing along, trying to forget the destruction taking place to our once great Country.
I’ll be lucky if we’re permitted to do such work by the end of Zeros first term. At the very least, I expect the open burning to halt.
I thought it was too late 10 years ago. We’re Doomed!
Sorry, I've been in that alternate reality a long time. It happened during the McCarthy era when I realized the Ministry of Truth (media, academia, elitists) succeeded in turning truth completely on its head. The Reagan years were the only bright spot since but all those gains are rapidly eroding away in a socialist/totalitarian deluge.
Please try to assemble a YouTube video of some of the action. Sounds like this needs documentation.
Had to laugh at the news report that, in one locale that required its school buses to use bio-diesel, they had to cancel school—the buses wouldn’t run because the cold had turned the bio-diesel to jelly.
This is a horrible video, and I don’t bother with chipping that much of the tree. I’d simply knock the top half out, flipping it aside, then buzz the bottom off at ground level.
And I have to say, I’m a hell of a lot smoother at it than this guy.

I’ve been meaning to have someone take a clip of it in action, for just such an occasion as this.
