i don’t think there is air or birds in the upper stratosphere.
“not found on the earth” is misleading. Not like these were found in space, or are extraterrestrial, either... The are not “on” the earth but are undeniably and entirely “of the earth”.
Do they still quarantine astronauts ?
Andromeda Strain?
No how do they know these are bacteria are previously thriving up there free floating, or they are bacteria that went up on the balloon and sensor equipment.
Coconuts traverse the ocean currents looking for land to latch onto and grow. Life has a funny way of finding a way.
This is not an insignificant discovery.
I wonder if anything is cooking in the Jovian atmosphere.
There is an amazing amount of bacteria in the clouds themselves as well, I have read about it.
That’s what I thought. Very misleading title.
The original title at the source was just this:
3 new bacteria species found
not found on the earth is misleading.

Andromeda Strain? No, the Pelosi-Reid Strains. Non-human extraterrestrial life. In other words, not only are they out of their minds, they are from outer space. Explains why Pelosi never blinks. Reid looks like an alien from “Invaders From Space”.
Barney Frank - pick a planet, any planet except earth.
Obama- “The RED planet Mars”
His wife Michelle - from the book “The Vampires of Venus”
Robert Gibbs - the creatures in “Spaced Invaders”
Howard Dean - “It Came From Outer Space”
Gov. Tim Kainer (my elected duffus) - “Galaxy Quest” (you’ll know which character he looks like if you have seen the movie)
Ray Nagin - “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms”
Ted Kennedy - “Moby Dick”
Barbara Boxer - The little aliens in “Man in Black”
John Murtha - The Sarlac Pit in “Star Wars”
John Kerry - “The Creeping Unknown”
Come on in gang and join the fun.
