Who do you believe could mount an effective challenge to Mitch McConnell for minority leader? Have you heard any chatter about a challenge. What do think is the likelihood? Could activists make a difference with calls, faxes, emails, etc...? Your thoughts.
let me know - I’d be willing to make phone calls, etc. McConnell is a spineless weasel and I’d love to send him packing!
Calling a Conservative Republican with spine, guts, and gonads. Please step forward and save this nation from treason and tyranny.
I think when your opponent is successfully characterizing your party as a bunch of southern hicks you should adapt and take this advantage away from them. I am from Georgia and damn glad of it! But we need to offer a different set of faces for America(meaning Independents and non commie Dems) to look at. This is one good reason to change Senate leadership. Why play into the stereotype?
Who you going to replace him with? McCain? Snowe? Collins? Graham?
I think over the holiday would be a good time to hatch a plot and then SURPRISE! Leadership change when the Senate reconvenes. It would be more “under the radar” so to speak.
paulycy that was funny and kinda gross at the same time. Thanks
A conservative Republican politician is rapidly turning into an oxymoron sadly enough.
DeMint
Yeah i know but maybe the grassroots can make something happen by putting pressure... if we just knew where to start.
Yes, thank you. Lets call and suggest. Enough calls and he might make a run for it.
I’d have to say Jim DeMint for SC or maybe Kyl from AZ or maybe Cornyn from TX.
Demint I mean. HAHA
I like “Just the facts, Ma’am,” Mitch McConnell. “Most Americans now hate the bill, and most of the Democrats pushing it,” just came from Fox News, and Mitch gets a lot of the credit for this.
(BOR is apparently “home for Christmas,” and a pretty woman is taking his place: eye candy with a what sounds early on like a good mind.)
Yes, it expresses a certain emotion that needs to be expressed re: our current GOP leadership.
But then there’s the whole stereotype thing again. hick and all that.
I would support Jeff Sessions, Jim DeMint or Tom Coburn.
