A personal journal belonging to U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens was obtained by CNN, and The Wall Street Journal is reporting that it "broadcast reports based on its contents against the wishes of the Stevens family, according to relatives and State Department officials who were asked to intervene by the family."......
On Wednesday, CNN talk show host Anderson Cooper told Sen. John McCain on "Anderson Cooper 360," that "a source familiar with Ambassador Stevens's thinking told us that in the months before his death he talked about being worried about the never-ending security threats that he was facing in Benghazi and specifically about the rise in Islamic extremism and growing al Qaeda presence." The source, Cooper said, "also mentioned (Stevens) being on an al Qaeda hit list."

Agreed it was an act of war against this country but CNN removed the diary, unlawfully, read it before turning it over to unamed others, and are using it now as programming. Do you believe CNN wants to damage Obama with what’s in the diary? I absolutely do not.
Obama & Hillary threw the YouTube-er to the Muslim mob. Remember them apologizing to the Muslim world for the video, the video, over and over? Except no one had seen the video. All lies. Hillary looks like she’s coming apart. Aren’t you following events?
The video (have you seen it?) was a steaming pile of excrement, offensive not just to Muslims but to anybody with an ounce of artistic sensitivity. I doubt that Obama “apologized” for it because that would imply that he had some responsibility for it, but he was certainly right to want to distance himself from it. I wouldn’t want to be in the same area code with it.
But I still don’t see what the connection is between the Obama Administration and the Libyan ambassador’s diary obtained by CNN. How does the latter discredit the former?
Uh, it shows that his staff in Libya suspected serious problems and he failed to take adequate measures to protect them or the OTHER embassies - ESPECIALLY in light of the 9-11 anniversary.
Did the ambassador request additional security? Did Obama even know about his concerns?
At a minimum they should be charged with possession of stolen property. I also understand that the family asked them not to publish the information in the diary.

It was 9-11. Customarily we are on “high alert” at that time.
The diary indicated HE had serious concerns about his security.
There had been a recent revolt in Libya and the new guys in power contained radical anti-western elements.
So WHY was the U.S. consul sitting in Benghazi in an essentially unprotected position with NO security when this happened??
What about EGYPT?? What about all those OTHER U.S. embassies?
Were Obama and Hillary sleeping or do they really believe their own rhetoric?
