She is exactly what R&B needs. I don't think she can win. I don't think middle America gets performers like her. I would bet a thousand dollars that she'll be voted off before Lazaro.
Lots of folks will say "so what?" and "it's just a reality show." If it happens, I think it'll be cultural tragedy. I've never earned a dime as an adult doing anything other than play, sing, compose, record and arrange music...that's 38 years in the music business. I probably take shows like this a lot more seriously than folks who can care less about the direction and quality of American popular culture.
With everything going on in Congress and in North Korea, Syria, Libya, A-stan, the white hut, and a raging snowstorm approaching, prepared to deliver 12 inches of global warming....I am WAY WAY WAY past the need for a good old fashioned snark fest! Sooooooo with that being said.....(anyone that knows that mumbling sock stuffing creature, had best warn the lad.........it aint gonna be pretty) ;-)
