Wow, sad, Jonny. I couldn’t imagine.both of mine have alzheimers — my mom not so bad yet — and at times I mourn their “loss” but I do realize I can still hug and kiss them and hear their voices and tell them I love them.
You do so much more to insult people on “these” thread(s) than share your opinion.
My little Puerto Rican heritage baby (19 mo) was falling asleep in my arms face to my body when Casey started in. She turned to look and did a double take and kept turning her body to see more!! Ha ha ha ha ha! I think she thought he was smokin’ hot too! She must like em blonde! She fell asleep after he was done. She definitely is in love with Elmo though (I know, I know, but she doesn’t know that about him)

I have a lot of respect for your opinion, and for silent_jonny's opinion, and for many other opinions on here. But I will never have a problem insulting anyone who uses race as a criteria for enjoying talent. And a few of the racial attitudes on here are reprehensible...yet the folks displaying them like a badge of honor are cheered on and gladhanded.
Forgive me if I take the opposite tack.
Notice that I haven't named names. If the shoe fits, I hope those folks are insulted to a high degree.
For me, Amber or Kree should be the next American Idol. I could live with Candice or Janelle. If Lazaro wins the show is dead.
I would choose Amber over Kree, just because her voice has a pure sound and a timbre (is that the right word?) that conveys emotion. Plus she’s a knock out beauty! (But you could tell she was uncomfortable in those short, shorts—which tells me she is also a modest young lady.)

She is exactly what R&B needs. I don't think she can win. I don't think middle America gets performers like her. I would bet a thousand dollars that she'll be voted off before Lazaro.
Lots of folks will say "so what?" and "it's just a reality show." If it happens, I think it'll be cultural tragedy. I've never earned a dime as an adult doing anything other than play, sing, compose, record and arrange music...that's 38 years in the music business. I probably take shows like this a lot more seriously than folks who can care less about the direction and quality of American popular culture.
With everything going on in Congress and in North Korea, Syria, Libya, A-stan, the white hut, and a raging snowstorm approaching, prepared to deliver 12 inches of global warming....I am WAY WAY WAY past the need for a good old fashioned snark fest! Sooooooo with that being said.....(anyone that knows that mumbling sock stuffing creature, had best warn the lad.........it aint gonna be pretty) ;-)
