I love stories like this - how in the world were those giant blocks moved? Better call the Ancient Aliens guy with the hair.
His hairdo looks like it comes from outer space. Someone needs to give him a gift certificate to a barber shop.
I would refer to this as the Galactica Theory - where mankind has been traveling through the stars and forced to find new planets because they keep destroying the ones the currently occupy. We keep making the same mistakes as a small band of survivors begins anew - but generations later - the same is repeated. 9,000 yrs ago with some form of technology to form and move those blocks - pretty advanced...as the Cylons say, “All Of This Has Happened Before And Will Happen Again.”
just my opinion to through this conversation in another direction...
It’s from Centauri.
Perhaps in later days...
Entropy has nothing to do with it?
This post reminds me of another from November:

Stonemason James Vieira of Ashfield studies ‘mound builders,’ ancient stonework
Real interesting video of a lecture of his findings:

Sheesh, you would think by now dogs could have learned how to spell.
Was in Baalbek in 1962.
Tour guide told us that the huge rocks were hewn in Egypt and transported by boat. Many of them did not make it to place of destination and can be found on bottom of Mediterranean in a line drawn from Alexandria to Lebanese coast.
Place is not too far from Zahleh (Christian area) known for their excellent Labanese cuisine and arak (Lebanese equivalent of Ouzo).
Has anyone ever checked to see if those blocks are solid stone?
Yep. We keep eating the forbidden fruit over and over again. Too stupid to see truth.
Most likely these “stones” are alkalai-activated aluminosilicate concrete objects manufactured in place. Ancient man was pretty familiar with these cements which resulted in concretes superior in many ways to present day portland cement concretes. Only an experienced mineralogist can distinguish them from natural limestone concretations.
Have Professor Davidovits take a look.
I love watching youtube videos on this megolithic construction sites around the world.
Nephtalim!
Pretty impressive, regardless of the answer.
