He was speaking at the National Press Club today and completely eviscerated Donald Trump. He started out by saying that he likes the idea of Trump calling out the establishment and that his diagnosis on Washington DC is correct. He finds the Trump show very entertaining and says he even laughed when he gave out Lindsey Graham’s phone number. But while his diagnosis is good, Jindal says Trump’s prescription of himself is not what America needs.
But then he lit into Trump, calling him a narcissist who only cares about ‘Trump’ and says the only reason he likes Kanye West is because West likes Trump. Jindal notes that like all narcissists, Trump is really weak and insecure and afraid of being exposed.
He had several really good jabs at Trump, but one that I thought was a particularly good zinger was when he explained why Donald Trump can’t even tell you his favorite verse in the Bible. He says Trump has never read the Bible because Trump is not IN the Bible! Wow.
Jindal says for the first time in a while conservatives have a real chance of winning, and yet right now an unserious candidate is leading the pack.
I have to say that I love what Jindal said. He really threw down the gauntlet and laid out the case against Trump better than anyone has thus far. And he didn’t do it in a mean and nasty way. He did it in a very thoughtful and substantive way.
Now all of a sudden Jindal looks like a serious candidate who is willing to fight for this nomination. BRING IT ON

Jindal is at .3 percent in the polls. This anti-Trump speech was his Hail Mary pass to try to regain relevancy when he has none. Trump should have made his “look at that face” remark regarding Fiorina about Jindal too. Jindal will go nowhere because he is just plain old ugly and no one can get past that. It’s a visual thingy. Who wants to have to look at Jindal on TV for 4 years? And talk about motor mouths. Jindal talks faster than a speeding bullet. He makes me nervous and jittery listening to him.
The glee here about the vitriol Jindal just spewed forth about Trump is unnatural and sounded that way. Equally vicious to anything Trump has said. This attempt to dethrone Trump will once again fail, and Jindal too will go down in flames, well only .3 percent down in flames, as he won’t have to sink much lower to hit rock bottom.
What a fool Jindal is, unless of course, he has been bought off and promised some job by whoever’s campaign (Jeb?) put him up to this attack. I’m going Machiavellian here as all’s fair in love and war, so who knows if someone bought Jindal off. However, it’s more likely a dying gasp by a now known loser. Buh bye, Bobby, we once thought we knew you well.

Good thing he is not on the debate stage with Carson. Just about the time I nod off listening to Carson, motor mouth Jindal comes on and nap’s over!
Maybe Jindal should have been taking the positions Trump did back a few months ago and maybe then he could be talking about something more serious than how much of the Bible Trump has read.
Trump “seriously” took on the things all of these guys at 1% didn’t feel compelled enough to tackle, and likely would not have.
Now the GOPe is flat on their backs, so these “real conservatives” start barking? How brave.

If Trump sets up shop on another network while the debates are live he will get the audience! He can sit there and take potshots and spit out hilarious one-liners.. people would eat it up.
He would, in effect, be running a 3rd party candidacy while also being a candidate for the republican nomination :-)
Its like a 500 lap race and its only lap 100. Trump is the lead car now but a smart trailing car driver would be patient and consistent hoping the later laps would be more favorable for gaining or even overtaking the leader. Jindal is at long odds to win anyway but this wont help him any.

Not fair and not true. He only defends himself, never attacks.
I adhere strictly to the King James Version and it says trump.
Trump said it outright on Carly and it probably applies with Jindal and Carson and another half dozen of them: they need money and the only money they’re going to get is take-down-Trump money.
Should be quite a debate next week.
