Mohammed & Charlemagne Revisited says that history indicates that quite possibly Persia was not conquered by the Saracen horde as there is no contemporary record and historians assume that, because it was largely a Persian army the beset the Empire, that must be what occurred. Instead maybe the rulers in Persia made a compact with the Arabs and joined them, switching the national religion from Zoroastrianism to Islam and continuing to rule Persia and becoming part of the ruling class of the Moslem empire. We could be seeing that process occurring again in modern times. The ruling class of the West is making or has made a deal with Islam, thinking they will simply convert at the appropriate moment and continue to rule, and, since they feel they are much smarter than the Moors, they mean to replace the Mohammedan rulers with themselves in a totally controlled Islamic Empire.
