electronic medical forms (vanity)
me

Posted on 09/19/2017 7:08:37 PM PDT by Lorianne

I just had to check in electronically for an upcoming doctors visit and I'm so angry.

1. Choosing your race there is no White or Caucasian, the closest choice available is "not Hispanic"

2. Filing out the emergency contact there is no choice for husband (or wife). The closest thing you can choose is "life partner"

3. Filling out your sex it does give you a choice of cisfemale .... and about 12 other choices.

WTH?

Just venting. I am going to complain to the doctor and ask for a paper form so I can fill it out how I want to.

Plus it took FOREVER to fill out online. I could have filled it out on paper in about 2 minutes.

Grrrrrrrrrr.

What in the World is “cisfemale?”

It means you have two X chromosomes and identify as a female.

Now, if you have an X and a Y chromosome and identify as a female, you would be a transfemale, or tranny for short.

Yep, more linguistic activism. Useful idiots are being dumped along the way, and only the most radical homo-activists and feminists like where they’re really taking policymaking and legislation. They’re the sons and daughters of the most influential political class folks, and no one angers them without being fired or expelled.

Nursing and other medical programs at universities have been rife with it at least since the ‘80s, by the way.

Does “life partner” include roommate or even a brother/sister/cousin that you live with?

Do you own any firearms?
Are you registered to vote?
Are you one of those people who listens to ‘talk radio’?

No!! but they had a smiley faced chart that wanted me to tell them how happy I have been lately.
again, I was there for an injury on my hand, and was getting pretty annoyed at all the q and a.

Makes me think of Mr. and Mrs. Beaver in the movie The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

My GD was about 8 y/o, and she was at the pediatriciam for her yearly. He asked [dad was in the room] if there were guns in the house.

She said, *Not that I know of.* Which I thought was a pretty good answer for a kid.

Later she told me, she was worried that someone would come and take away her Red Ryder, that she had just got for Christmas.

I’m sure her response was reflective of her hearing adult convos in our family about 2A issues. She knows I carry everywhere we go.

Your answer, would have been my answer, if that was posed to me. Depending on my mood, I might have walked out also, [never to return again]. But the dang hospital gown, open the back, would have been a good deterrent. Contrary to rumors around here, I do not look like Melania Trump’s doppelganger. >:D

Arggh!
They haven’t don’t that yet at my regular doctor.

But I’ve been getting emails at work that are signed off after their name and contact info like this

Pronouns: he, him, his

This is from professional people, government people etc.
So far I haven’t gotten an email that asks for pronouns, ze or whatever they are. I think I will just not respond to such a person.

The world has gone mad.
