The planeloads of pallets of cash were intended for bribes and arms purchases. Or at least that’s how I understand the situation.

I read an article not long ago that the $ was not “mullah” money but from the previous Iranian government to buy arms with, and was $400 million. So it was not the mullah government money anyway, and they had legally forfeited it by various crimes.
So there was NO legal reason to give them one damn penny. What to speak of billions or whatever it was that Steaming Pile aka as 0bola gave them.
Giving it back was wrong enough, the extra was just the interest i heard... lol right.
