When I discovered I had wifi with my COMCAST modem and NETFLIX is eleven bucks a month, I divorced (what I call AM TV, as opposed to FM TV), entirely.
The entire visual/audio thing is for me, pure entertainment.
If you don't entertain me, you don't have me.
(of course the political specials are not part of that logic)
I have the ringing question what happens if Netflix killed the networks? Where would it get its original content? I guess that is what they are trying to solve. So far its movies barely exceed made for TV standards, but its series have been decent - especially Narcos and Stranger Things.
And I guess it will always, likely, have all that Australian and British content, which most of the time, is superb.
