Dear Annoying Parkland Kids: We Gave You A Pretty Awesome World[tr]

All the reasons for refusing to allow ourselves to be led by children were summed up in the latest coronation of the Parkland kids, this time by ancient leftist Bill Maher. He invited David Hogg and Cameron Kasky on his show so Hogg could boast about hanging up on the President of the United States, and so Kasky could give us this sanctimonious little lecture: “I mean this sincerely, I really do, to all the generations before us, we sincerely accept your apology. We appreciate that you are willing to let us rebuild the world that you f—ed up.”

This sums up everything that’s wrong with these kids’ astroturfed ride to fame. They get flown around the country, they get invited on TV, they get puffball interviewers like Bill Maher, all because they are willing to repeat in a cloyingly self-righteous manner the message favored by their adult handlers. But not because they actually know what they’re talking about.

Let’s look at their arrogant presumption that previous generations messed up the world, so that today’s kids, in their superior wisdom, have to “rebuild” it.

Start with the issues most directly at hand here. School shootings are actually down over the last 20 years. Northeastern University Professor James Alan Fox analyzed the data and concluded that mass school shootings are “extremely rare events” and that “there is not an epidemic of school shootings.” Here’s what the data look like.

Yeah, it’s funny they don’t know the proper use of laundry detergent but they know exactly how to solve all the world’s problems.

I dunno - the one father who gave an impassioned plea during his visit with the president was pretty convincing to me when he spoke about his murdered daughter.

You don’t want to listen to the current crop of Beevis and Butthead? These two, especially that Hogg POS so send me over the top when I hear them blathering, I want to put my foot through their asses. The problem I see with them, and I don’t necessarily blame them about this, is there is never a point of reference in any of their arguments. It is for them a like a moment in time that becomes becomes the new reality. So, lets all start from their pollyanna approach: there are no opposing nations, everyone lives in peace and harmony, we all consume legumes, and we fart rose aromas. No need for guns, no need for money, no need for anything because we are in heaven on earth. Life is peaceful bliss every moment so we can go back to play our new style video games with no violence in them. No school debts, no credit cards just unending piles of credits to buy and do what we want. Self centered history challenged nano second decision makers. Used to have a boss like that. We used to say he spoke and dressed well, and after that you said it all.

Dear Parkland kids,

What did you do about your classmate when you realized that reporting his violence did no good?

What did you do to protect yourselves and those around you when you realized first responders weren’t coming inside?

What have you done when you realized a Democrat president and his officials created an absurd policy protecting violent students in the schools?

What have you done when you realized the sheriff’s dept. didn’t protect you and blamed it on their “mass shooter guidelines”?

What have you done other than going after the NRA which had nothing to do with the shooter, school policies or the sheriff dept. response. What ?

Agree. It apparent that few kids today have any sense of history. And so they assume that life has always been easy-living & care-free.

The leftist world-view is that humans are essentially good, and that it is society that turns them bad. And so, if we could just remove all the negative aspects of society - starting with guns & “religion”, the goodness in people would emerge like a butterfly from a cocoon...

One more question for the little darlings: The policy for American schools-private and public-from now on, will be all those on medication for mental problems, all the sociopathic weirdo students will be immediately identified and PUT OUT of school. No questions, no exceptions. Would you be ok with that form of prevention?

Seems to me that a loaded gun in a classroom WITHOUT unbalanced psychos wouldn't open fire on anyone...

Well, it’s been almost a month since Feb 14; many more years since Columbine and Sandy Hook. If we can’t just make all the guns “disappear”, what have any of these schools done differently to enhance security since then? What’s the back up plan? Are the parents still just packing their kids up and sending them right back in without any changes?

Actually the one common denominator in ALL crime is HANDS. No hands, no violence, no shootings, no domestic abuse, no bomb making-nothing. We gotta get rid of hands! partial /sarc

Fathers who are not negligent at putting their daughters into dangerous environments without defense, their daughters are still alive. Plenty of video there.

There you go, proving that the left doesn’t have a monopoly on people with no sense of decency.

Hogg cracks me up sometimes. I’ve seen him being interviewed a few times where he and the interviewer were facing each other and the camera was facing their side profiles. When he would answer a question, he would make a deliberate 90-degree turn of his head, stare directly into the camera, and then answer the question. It was like an SNL skit.
