Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg has confronted Senator John McCain onTwitter over his decision to accept more than $7.7 million from the National Rifle Association over his career.
Hogg, 17, who has become a leading gun-reform advocate since the Florida high school shooting in which 17 people died, tweeted McCain on Friday with the question: 'Why do you take so much money from the NRA?'
The tweet was in response to McCain's post about a redevelopment project in Phoenix, Arizona, and quickly racked up thousands of likes and re-tweets.

Sorry, but he was actually at the high school campus when the shooting occurred. But he wasn’t in the Freshmen building where the actual shooting occurred — the ONLY building where it occurred.

Mccain is not my favorite but he did support the NRA...and the man is about to kick the bucket.

Hogg has given several conflicting stories about this. In his earliest pronouncement he said he was at home when he heard the news of the shooting and grabbed his camera and ran to the school. By the time he got there, it was all over.

I predict that McCain will agree with Hogg, apologize, return the money to the NRA and then endorse some unconstitutional legislation in order to spit with last breath at the Republic.
Without a doubt, if a Democrat candidate faithfully and continuously supports the Second Amendment he/she will also partake of the largesse supplied by members of the NRA as well as their votes.
