Difference between your car sitting in the hot sun, in a hot parking lot vs. moving through ‘clean’ (slightly less hot) air over hot pavement.

I hate how toasty my feet get when I’m driving and the weather is like this. If I set the climate control to vents & feet, it’s better, but then I feel like I’m not getting enough through the vents. I kind of miss the days when cars had proportional flapper valve control over that sort of thing.

And yes, it’s dang hot. Although I remember back in 90-something when a friend came to visit in September and the highs were around 114. Picked him up in the evening at the airport and it was still 106. Stepping out the airport door was like opening your oven door and walking in.

As an ancient radar repairman and part time CAD driver; This looks like someone momentarily changed a setting.

In the old days they were called ‘knob dickers’.. These were people who came in to talk to you and mindlessly turn the knobs of your test equipment.. But in this case, changing software settings but, not realizing they were doing it on the ‘live’ data...
