Dunno why, IIRC the first CBS & NBC News color election maps had the GOP in blue and the DEMs in red. Today, of course, they’re flipped.

Anyway, socialist du jour Cortez is scheduled to appear on “Face The Nation” this Sunday.
At first I was concerned that a genuine socialist had been nominated. But the more I listen to Casio the more she seems a gift. She has no thought-through positions and her comments are poorly worded so that she seems like a complete idiot. One would think that the fact Crowley, the ten term Democrat she defeated and who is running against her as an independent, would create an opportunity for Republicans. But, I have not even heard the Republican’s name or seen it in any article. I had to try several times on Google to find it. Perhaps it’s time to send Republican Anthony Pappas some love.
Yes, the television networks used to alternate colors. Then they ALL switched to Republican red and Democrat blue. ALL of them. At the SAME time. With the change in the SAME direction. Funny how the hive operates. But we're not supposed to accuse them of collusion.
Sanders honeymoon was actually in the Soviet Union. That country going for world domination was definitely RED then. All literary references to communism used the color red. Those references are still there. Just another way to try to fool people.

Third party? I thought I heard Bernie was interested in running as a Dem candidate for president in 2020 (seriously). Hillary lost due to diminished black support (compared to Obama); these two unassimilated, un-American dopes would lose due to NO black support.
The race-baiting and gender warring hurt Hillary badly, it would hurt these two as well. Despite the portrayal of Hispanics as a monolithic voting group (similar to blacks), it is just a myth. While a Puerto Rican on the ticket may solidify performance in the urban sh!tholes in which the largest clusters live, I know from the invasion of my town by Central and South Americans that many people in those groups don’t have a very high opinion of Puerto Ricans.
She is truly a gift; I hope she keeps the cameras on herself for years to come. She is from a sh!thole district (defined by the fact that the Dem primary is the de facto general election), and a dying socialist nanny-state that would be tough for Republicans to win.
The more the Dems parade their freak show nationally, the more motivated normals (of any color) are motivated to support Republicans. The Republican wave in 2016 was fueled by many traditional Dems voting the “normal” line from the top of the ticket down.
