Funny, he's never been charged with any crime. Not even the suggestion that he will be, no continuing investigation appears centered on him.
So, that leads me to believe they were either just wrong (due to incompetence) or lying about Page to get the ability to intercept everyone else on Team Trump based on the "two levels deep" rule. I'll bet it was the latter, and Page was an unwitting pretext simply because he had been to Russia and talked to a few Russians. Failing that they would have wiretapped Corey Landowski, because he likes Russian dressing on his salads.
