Nor do I recommend it. It's good to know that there is pain in life. All life, every life.
Whining about it as if pain is a surprise is dopey and unrealistic and a waste of energy.
For example. The guy I addressed who was whining about "discourse"
It is what it is, and life is life. Deal.
We are here to deal with life as it is, not as we would have it be.
Hillary is real. The deep state is real. People are what they are. Antifa gonna Antifa. Dems gonna dem. Trolls gonna troll. Etc.

Love the ‘Cowboy up” too*
btw, I have lately noticed I apparently have a bad habit of missing some of the conversation. I blame my time constraints (and maybe laziness). Then regret(feel silly) when I realize my comments were a little ‘off’. I find myself reading some, typing some, working on other stuff (family and dogs stuff - so demanding(laf)), then coming back and trying to pick up reading/writing, etc.
IN other words, thanks for putting up with my adhd type posts.
;)
Pain can be good. Tells you you are bleeding to death, or having a heart attack, or put your left shoe on your right foot.
You need darkness and night to appreciate the day, you need Wild Irish Rose and MD in order to know that Shraders or Bryant Family Vineyards Cabernet’s are superior. Unless you have seen Helen Thomas, you can’t appreciate how turely beautiful Melissa Theuriau really is! (And she really is!)
(Places without pain include Opium Dens and Leper Colonies.
I used to think, no pain, no gain. That was in my younger years. Now, it’s just a sign that I’m still alive. Knees are worn down a bit. Something weird in the back too. But nothing I can’t handle. Yeah, life is pain, but it’s a good pain.
I just popped on and saw your post. I’ve had a few. It’s not your fault.
Pain makes you stronger. It works physically as well as mentally. David Hackworth would agree with me.
I’ve been living in pain ever since 1989. My pain suddenly was cured on 1/20/2017.
Pain has made me stronger.
But it is laughter that reminds us we are alive.
