Does anyone know about the legal parameters that will define how soon Judge K can be sworn in?
I suspect a very nice ceremony on Sunday or Monday. I cant imagine theres that big of a rush to do it in the middle of the night or something. Plus Trump is at a rally tomorrow.
As soon as the confirmation is delivered to the President.
But they usually wait until they can set up a decent ceremony. There really is not a rush to get started. Its not like they are going to take it away.
I’d say late Sunday or early Monday. Don’t want him to miss any more USSC business than necessary.
Better do it indoors. The weekend forecast is that it’ll be raining... liberal tears.
Dont count your Hatches before they chicken.
There should be 2 swearing-in ceremonies.
One in front of the CNN building.
Another in front of the MSNBC studios.
I love my president! He just keeps taking the democrats to the woodshed. I say he should do it during prime time TV hours.
What time is the vote?
They can always accuse him of something else
Hatch won’t chicken. But Flake is defininitely a dodo.
It looks like there needs to be 30 hours between cloture and teh vote....here is what I found:
“FINAL VOTE: If all 30 hours of post-cloture debate time is used on Kavanaugh nomination, his confirmation vote would be held Saturday at 4:52pm.”
I am not sure if this is true or not
There is a huge reason to rush. The court is in session, and he is missing cases where he could be a crucial vote. Swear him in Sunday so he can go to work Monday.
Sunday afternoon. Breaking news in the middle of NFL games
“his confirmation vote would be held Saturday at 4:52pm.
I have seen something similar to that.
Monday is a holiday......But, he can hit the ground running on Tuesday...this is, if he doesn’t need a 2 week vacation at the beach just to recover from all that he has gone through
That’s the way I understand it. It could be earlier in Democrats don’t man the lectern for the entire 30 hours.
Not outdoors, some leftist may assassinate Kavanaugh and count on a DC jury to acquit.
