wo years of pent-up bitterness and backbiting about Megyn Kelly have finally come to a head at NBC News.

Her offensive remarks about blackface Halloween costumes have stoked disappointment and resentment within NBC, according to multiple sources at the network. Kelly started her show on Wednesday by apologizing for comments made the previous day. Her audience gave her a standing ovation, but disappointment inside NBC News runs deep and isn't likely to fade anytime soon.

NBC grasping for any opportunity to get out of Megyn Kelly’s $69 million contract.

They might pay her this just to make her go away. They learned quickly hiring her was a first class screw up. Apparently NBC leadership is severely lacking in common sense. Leftism is a mental disease so they do have that as an excuse since NBC is extremely far left. Marxists/Communists to be exact.

Is it JUST ratings or is it to TEAR DOWN the America they know and hate?

Yes, ratings is a huge part.

But during the election we declared them an enemy of the state here.

That hasn’t changed, I don’t think.

I was watching the old Dean Martin roasts.

I’m Italian. There were MORE Italian, Irish, Black, Puerto Rican, even Scottish and Jewish jokes than I could keep up with and I couldn’t stop laughing.

Even Mohammed Ali laughed at black jokes that now would have you arrested.

Times have changed my friend.

She claims it was ok to do this when she was growing up

I’m old enough to be her mother. Unless you were in a gated all white community black face was not ok .....unless you were a democrat

“Kelly stood up for Kavanaugh so they had the knives out for her.”

She should be doing a political show, not the housewife thing she does now.

I thought she was a smart woman. Maybe I was influenced by the subtle authority of her beauty (which is diminishing).

#4: "She didn’t don blackface; she was just talking about it. There’s nothing inherently offensive about blackface"

How is someone supposed to dress up like a black person unless they don blackface? Duh.

Riddle me this Batman: Why is it not offensive to allow Negroes to portray Alexander Hamilton and the founding fathers, yet whites are not allowed the same freedom to portray Negroes?.

A black Alexander Hamilton is mockery. That was the whole point of "Hamilton" to mock and delegitimize our foundations.

I beg to differ.

If they are smart they will use this to get rid of this narcissistic turd that won’t flush that FNC eagerly let NBC lure away in the belief they were scoring a major coup on FNC.

Well, she was discussing wearing it, and asking why that would be so bad, and saying that it was common in her childhood. To which I say, where the hell was she from...?

Agree. I recall seeing blackface in old movies when I was a kid in the sixties, but I never saw anyone wear it in real life.

What, exactly, was Ted Danson thinking? I have NEVER been able to figure that out. Ever.

That dog picture with the ‘Do Not Want’ caption under it applies.

I mean, Ted Danson, in his heyday could get any woman he wanted.

And he goes with Whoopi?!?!?!?!

Fair question, but please, call us black.

We threw out the negro label over half a century ago.

Just one more HISTORIC truth which the corrupt DemoCommieRats have to hide.

You are doomed to repeat the errors of history if you are not exposed to them and the damage they caused.

A tempest in a tea pot.

Please someone tell me the US Code which makes it a crime to offend someone!

Being Offended is better than the worn out Race card because every scum of the earth liberal can decide on any given day what does and does not offend them.

Precisely.

We will have discovered and verified the unified field equation, and we will not have solved the question:

“What was Ted Danson thinking in dating Whoopi Goldberg”

You think Roger Aisles built up Megyn Kelly, then conspired with Donald Trump, to send over Megyn Kelly to his competitor, whereupon she would blow up like the Tsar Bomba in NBC’s face?

Because if he did, that’s genius. That makes Kim Philby look like a piker.

Roger was smart, but that's super genius stuff, there.

No, I think Megyn charted her own path into the ditch.

Well, we can have our own opinions, and I personally would agree with you, but I think “the history” makes it appear asymmetrical to the wider public. Ignore that at your own risk.

Ditto. I liked her on Fox. Hated her over Trump.

Thought she’d redeemed herself a bit by standing up for Kavanaugh in the middle of libs bashing away. She’s an annoyance to them. Look for a suspension over this as their way of pushing her out and getting her to walk away from her full contract money.

She should be doing a political show. NBC didn’t know what to do with her. They paid for a NeverTrumper, but didn’t realize she’s still a Republican.
