The Macy’s PJ ad has been controversial because it also features a black single mother while featuring a white mother father kids.

Macy’s tried to include all - mother father kids - white, gay male family, black family, interacial family, etc. They’re getting heat from libs because of a black single mother.

Corporations are falling all over themselves to make TV ads "diverse," but the harder they try, the more likely it is that someone will damn them for the one base they failed to cover. Blacks are way overrepresented in ads - the blatant pandering is embarrassing - and they are all represented as living in upscale neighborhoods and driving upscale cars. Asians and Hispanics may be getting pissed off about this.
