The first thing he does in the video is to yell, “break it up”. The point is I think he was getting involved in something that had nothing to do with him or his family. And because he was with his family that was not the time to intervene in someone else’s battle and consequently put your family in harm’s way. He was either leaving or entering the mall. Should have just continued on his way.
So the mob was already violent and fighting when the video was turned on?
Agree, in general. Know a lot of great people in Asheville— people of faith and principle. Mtn. people who do not take crap. Some might intercede in some “flash gang” event. Agree, the better part of valor would be to surround his family with his arms, and walk them away. We just don’t know the chain of events. Asheville is a much more traditional medium size city , and the “folks” involved seriously in the minority, speaking frankly. Anyone in Atlanta would know better.
