Yep, Kansas City Southern de Mexico just about had a heart attack when POTUS was talking about getting out of NAFTA, since that would kill their business. Talk of closing the border probably doesn't help, either. Too bad, so sad though if they're helping illegal aliens get here.

KCS itself is in an awkward position vis-a-vis Mexico, but I won't cut them slack for it. The fact that we have ended up with two Canadian railroads with so much trackage and a Mexico-centric KCS speaks volumes about how much the various government entities care about sovereignty and security for anyone outside their own personal bubble. None of these mergers and purchases happened in a vacuum.
