The only disagreements I would have are that Sessions recused himself unnecessarily, or that he relied on bad advice. I think Beauregard Sessions went into the job knowing the score and the recusal was necessary.
Wray is unknown, as he has not been labeled dirty by Q, and Trump knows who he is dealing with.
Trump’s criticisms of Session were pure theater, and his very recent criticism of Wray is in my mind “TBD”.
I believe there was a “TRUST WRAY” post at one time ... TBD ;)
I just keep hearing Trump asking, If Sessions went in knowing he would recuse, why did he ever accept the job?
Im afraid if Sessions keenly recognized what he was walking into, with the FBI already crawling around Trumps transition team fishing for the most casual of any Russian interactions, that he also had to suspect a recusal was possible, and what a Blow that would be to a fledgling administration to have a eunuch for an AG.
Even now, as the small dominos begin to fall, Sessions gets no reprieve from POTUS or the voters, and AG Barr is doing the heavy lifting and is a Boss in the hearings on the Hill. Poor Sessions was set up by Rosenstein to be cut out of the information loop, unprepared for hearings which made minced meat out of him, stuck with some female aide seated behind him telling him how to answer. The rest was painful.
