Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll check with my endocrinologist, and see what he thinks of it. I’ve got to see him in a couple of weeks.
I stated that wrong.
K2 reversed half the buildup in the same time as it was added (I think six or eight weeks, for build up and take down).
Tastes change ... hit my 60’s and now I like Stinky Cheese and Liverwurst (I like Hard Cheese mostly but a little bit of soft Stinky Cheese dipped on the end is now OK)
MK-7 is more effective than MK-4. Read the Nutritional Facts Box * to be sure which is which. 7 is usually about 100 MCG.; 4 is usually about 1000 MCG. 7 is usually labelled as MK-7; 4 is usually labelled as K2.
K2 was long known as Weston Price’s X-Factor, and is the main reason for the emphasis on grass-fed milk and butter being used nowadays.
Other things that mobilize calcium are Boron (Borax in very small doses is an old folk remedy), and the Wulzen Anti-Stiffness (Anti-Arthritis) Factor, which is richest in raw Sugar Cane and raw Shea Butter.
Although sold as a cosmetic item, pure, raw (minimally processed, according to African traditional method) Shea is an edible, though heavy, oil. It has been used as a folk arthritis remedy for centuries, applied to areas of concern.
The benefit is the Wulzen Factor - Stigmasterol - absorbed through the skin. It is destroyed by heat and removed by filtering.
Pasteurized milk, even if from grass-fed cows, will have little if any active Stigmasterol.
Blackstrap Molasses, though heat processed, has some active Wulzen Factor, because it is from raw Sugar Cane, which is 1000 times more concentrated than milk butter fat in Stigmasterol.
* Supplements are regulated by the DSHEA: Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. Contrary to media lies, supplements are regulated; they are just regulated separately from drugs. To get the accurate, consistent information in order to know what you are buying, go to the Nutritional Facts Box on the back. The name/label on the front of a supplement can vary greatly, brand to brand.
*** “Please look into Vitamin K2 to shuttle your blood calcium into your bones” ***
Add D3 and Magnesium, skip all Calcium Sups (Think Cheese)
(OK that is what I do, but I am Old)
And thank God for that. I never ate vegetables other than corn and peas as a kid. Now I can't eat corn, and rarely eat peas, but eat all other kinds of vegetables in salads, stir fry, omelettes, etc.
What surprised me - “I’m only hungry when I eat”; what I mean by that I can fast for 24 hours and not be particularly hungry. This is my routine, 24 hour fast every day. Part of the time I’m hungry, yes. Not what I thought it must be like. Most of the time not at all.
But when I was eating 3 squares a day, snacking, that made me hungry all the time! It’s those glucose blood sugar swings. Like pouring gasoline on the fire. It’s boom and bust.
The next thing that surprised me was just how many calories are in the foods we eat. Peanut Butter is about 90 calories per tablespoon.
So what I used to consider basically a snack - a peanut butter sandwich, tall glass of milk, and a small handful of chips - is 1,040 calories!
It’s a tough sell to tell people they can only eat a peanut butter sandwich today if they want to achieve any meaningful weight loss in a reasonable time period. Tonite I might make a Reuben sandwich. Maybe a hamburger.
I do 18-6 or OMAD, I find if I’m feeling hungry, if I just drink some water it generally goes away.
Omega-3 as well. Watch your Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratios, I take an Omega-3 supplement every day. If there is too much Omega-6, that is inflammatory.
Fat is just the symptom of the problem.
I cook everything in Butter. Specifically Sea Salt and Olive Oil Butter.
Until you weigh/ measure your food; I did for six months, every single thing that I ingested at the time, most people have no idea how many Kcals they’re consuming.
The mouse study was done with Vitamin K2-MK4. However, we take a supplement with both that and MK-7 forms. The MK-7 lasts up to a week in our bodies, while MK4 lasts only hours.
I read salt water. The (doctor) claimed that on a low calorie diet and/or fasting, the kidneys shed a lot of water, the adipocytes formerly held more water when on a high glucose diet. So some electrolytes are good. I dose water with LiteSalt, a 50/50 combination of sodium and potassium. Just a little bit, not enough to taste unless I’m mowing the lawn or something and sweating.
Averaging (about) 2.5 pounds per week. I don’t know if that’s excessive but I don’t like it if I don’t see the scale decrease a little bit every day.
See #7.
If I sweat a lot during a workout, I will drink pickle juice right afterwards.
That stuff is literally a lifesaver.
K2! I was just watching a video about that last night:

I need to get “The Scan”. I just had a chest X-RAY and it showed calcification of the aortic arch...
Is this another way to say that being sedentary and never getting out in the sun can increase the risk of developing diabetes?
I am on Lupron and Enzalutamide now. Working great. PSA is undetectable and testosterone is under 3. Diagnosed in September 2014 with 8 bone mets. Latest scan could only detect 2 of them.
