Friend in his thirties just came down with shingles. In his thirties. He said the doctor said it’s becoming prevalent in much younger people. A girl aged 12 came down with it.

Here’s a shocking and sad column on the lack of a war on autism:

“Friend in his thirties just came down with shingles”

that’s terrible. shingles confuses me. i need to do a little research. do you get shingles only if you’ve had them? does the chicken pox vaccine prevent shingles? i’m kind of weird and could be anti vax with some things. my sister got chicken pox as an adult, right after her son was born. she wasn’t born when my older sister and i got them so she obviously missed them. they were awful for her as an adult and she’s tough like me lol. then about 4 yrs ago she got shingles in her mid 50’s. she was like “i can handle this.” yeah, she said it was horribly painful. (they are something i’d like to avoid)

Americans are apathetic towards autism because it’s dietary (maternal) and they’re not giving up their savory snackies.
