I have this radical notion that anyone building anything but a concrete dome in Florida is asking for a hurricane to flatten their home.

I have always thought that would be the way to go in hurricane or tornado country. Underground with a dome and large skylight out of a thick clear unbreakable material.
Right. Long been my thinking too. I think LEXAN is the clear plastic that is “bullet proof” etc. Have discovered there was a big concrete dome home in Fla that did survive a horrific hurricane. Don’t have a link handy.
