The early Super Bowl 54 odds indicate an even matchup between Chiefs and 49ers. Betonline.ag listed the Chiefs as a 1 1/2-point favorite on the strength of their AFC title game victory over the Titans, even though the 49ers put on a similarly dominant display against the Packers.
Because the game is considered almost a pick 'em, there is also little difference in the moneylines; early straight-up bettors would need to wager $125 to win $100 on the Chiefs, while 49ers backers could get even money (plus-105) on their side. Separately, oddsmakers are showing respect for the respective offenses led by Patrick Mahomes and Jimmy Garoppolo. Betonline's over/under opened at 53, which would put both teams' scores in the mid-20s with the point spread close to zero.

Go with the paesano QB of the 49ers :)
Maybe Brees, Brady and Rodgers are watching the game together :)
Should be a good SB
First paesano since Vince Ferragamo?
Well we had a good streak in the ‘80s with Montana.
Two of them against each other in Dolphins vs. 49ers I think.
Marino..a Whole career without a SB after that first early one.
What a shame.
But Montana...122 passes in a row in SB games without an Interception. Passer rating of 128.
I’m 51. My nephews and nieces don’t really care.
Their kids will know where Italy is on a map and that will be about it :)
It’s a good thing.
It’s the way of America.
But I’ll still be rooting for Garopollo :)
I will never root any team from the Left Coast. I hope the Chiefs win by at least 75 points
I forget about Marino.
You should lol
He should have asked to be traded!
They Never had a defense!
Jut 2 Marks.
And trust me, that name hasn’t done wonders for me lol
As a J-E-T-S fan I was hoping Testaverde would take the J-E-T-S to the big game but alas they lost in Denver in the AFC Championship game.
You’re a JETS Fan???
I’ve wasted 41 years being one :) Started at 10 and it sealed my life’s fate :)
I forgot about Vinny. His interception numbers were horrific.
All Jet QBs have done is prevent us from getting to the SB.
Twice during Sack Exchange days and twice with Ryan, we should have made it to 4 SBs and WON 2 SBs.
Yeap 40 years of futility.
LOL
I used to joke in my 20s how I’ll die without seeing them in a SB, then my 30s, then my 40s...now, with the extra weight and the creeping years...I don’t joke anymore :(
If one is going by ethnic heritage one should be thankful for us Hungarians. The one shining Jets moment was led by someone with a bit of Hungarian in him Joe Namath. :)
Don't forget the "almost" games with Pennington and Sanchez too. Sponsored by Tums.
I’m with you on that. I detest the 49ers. Wish the GB/SF game could have been a 0-0 tie.
Of course I know that! :)
Grandfather..Ellis Island...spelled a Little differently :)
Yeah Nemeth I think
I’ve read a few Namath books :) You’re right, I think.
We Jet fans cling to past glory like a nazi hiding out in South America.
And we have about the same chances of a resurgence!
I’m off the SB this year.
When your team has been in almost half the SB’s on the last 20 years, and won six, well, I satiated with football.
Could be a track meet/shootout.
I think Mahomes is a bit better than the Jimmy G., who’s no slouch. But SF seems to have more of a defense.
