I wasn’t born yet when the Jets supposedly won a Super Bowl; fortunately I’ve lived to see the Giants win four (and I’ll probably get to see them win a fifth next year - I’m a believer).
Mahomes is Really Good. He’s got that speed going for him as well as great passing.
I looked at the stats comparison. Very close in passing.
No close at all in rushing or avoiding the sack - the advantage going to mahomes

KC’s defense is the question for me. They are in a lot of games that are high-scoring both ways.

This game will be decided by one factor. If the Chiefs can give Patrick Mahomes time to throw, he will pick the Niners defense apart and Kansas City will win.
Yes, Jimmy G was amazingly good at handing off the ball yesterday. He did not drop the hand off even once.

It’s interesting that both teams have names that the Left considers politically incorrect: Kansas City because the name “Chiefs,” the arrowhead logo and the horse named Warpaint amount to blatant cultural appropriation and San Francisco, because the 49ers were white racists who ravaged the environment.
Just recently, Long Beach State University, known as the 49ers because the school was founded in 1949, dropped that mascot for being politically incorrect.

The best defense almost always wins the championship.
I was actually surprised that KC found a way to stop the run yesterday. I do not believe the KC line can stop the SF defense or SF offensive lines.
SF is good old fashioned smash mouth football.

It's going to be interesting. The 49ers running game is very powerful, and the Chiefs defense is horrible against the run.

Well balanced, well coached and an excellent defense.
I think this early line favoring KC is based on the emotional surge the Chiefs had in the playoffs, while Frisco was quietly just going about their business of beating everyone in their way.
Should be a good game.
If you only need 8 passes to beat the brakes off another team there’s no reason to throw more. Yes Garapalo is getting the benefit of being on a team with a great D and great running game so he doesn’t tend to have to throw often. But he CAN go 26 of 35 for 349 yards and 4 TDs if the game calls for it.
And if they mess up early like they did 2 weeks ago, San Fran won’t let them come back.
