The early Super Bowl 54 odds indicate an even matchup between Chiefs and 49ers. Betonline.ag listed the Chiefs as a 1 1/2-point favorite on the strength of their AFC title game victory over the Titans, even though the 49ers put on a similarly dominant display against the Packers.
Because the game is considered almost a pick 'em, there is also little difference in the moneylines; early straight-up bettors would need to wager $125 to win $100 on the Chiefs, while 49ers backers could get even money (plus-105) on their side. Separately, oddsmakers are showing respect for the respective offenses led by Patrick Mahomes and Jimmy Garoppolo. Betonline's over/under opened at 53, which would put both teams' scores in the mid-20s with the point spread close to zero.

The immortal Brad Johnson. More than serviceable but certainly no Favre or Manning.
Mets were just in The Series in 2015. They lost but they were there. Any team with DeGrom and Syndergaard has a chance.
Did you not see the SARCASM tag?
I think SF will win. I think they could possibly dominate KC.
Of course a strong running game and defense is better than a offense that drops back to pass on every play.
I can not believe that KC is slightly favored at this point. Put your money on SF.
Defenses always win championships.
I really haven’t followed baseball in years; I just hear ribbing back and forth between co-workers. I honestly didn’t know they were in the World Series in 2015; thank you!
(It still doesn’t change my opinion of them, but I’m better informed)
Yes they lost to the Royals who were very very good that year.
Looking forward to the Joe Montana Bowl. Hope it’s a good game.
That's true.
You mean like being down to Houston 24-0 in the last game?
if i was a betting man, i’d take SF with KC being 1.5 point favorites ...
“And if they mess up early like they did 2 weeks ago, San Fran wont let them come back.”
no kidding ...
“Anybody with insight on the line v. line battle? The Niners have been absolutely mauling teams on both lines of scrimmage.”
i’ve watched all the SF and KC playoff games and it looks to me like both lines of the niners can’t be beat by anyone, including KC ... i haven’t seen such dominate lines in a very long time, especially the niners offensive line ...
Ah, the Yankees’ old nemesis - George Brett’s Royals...
