Interesting time + material to drop, huh? I now wonder what collateral investigations might have accompanied that action.

I believe it was the amendment to limit unemployment benefits to the amount a person was earning rather than ~$24 provided or something like that; the argument was that if someone was earning $15 then they’d get paid more than if they were working and provide no incentive to get back to work; I’m not concerned about that as much as there being work for people to go back to & IMO the country needs the limited jolt to sustain + restore & bridge a jump-started economy. TBD + WWG1WGA :)

TURTLE ALERT: McConnell came back to the Senate floor and submitted a block of nominations. In the past he’s worked in a few deals into these moments so I’m very interested to see what just transpired; maybe he got a few more judges!

He quoted from a D-Day speech Roosevelt gave. It end with, “We shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy,” or something very much like that.

?Admittedly the report goes on to say: these features suggest that further evaluation of chloroquine in animal models of SARS-CoV infection would be warranted as we progress toward finding effective antivirals for prevention or treatment of the disease.?

..and so we wonder, why did they not progress further since 2005??

Maybe the upshot of this pandemic is that we will find the cure for ALL cold and flu viruses.
