NFL agent Buddy Baker says his parents died from coronavirus 6 minutes apart
Good Morning America ^ | April 01, 2020 | By Haley Yamada & Nicholas Coulson , Video by Will Linendoll

Baker said his parents were in perfect health until three weeks ago when they visited their doctor, who told both of them that they may have a slight case of pneumonia but should be fine. When they continued to feel worse, his parents went to the hospital on March 19. ....

“I started thinking, "This has got to stop. We’ve got to work to stop spreading this virus,'” said Baker. He said that people have to stop thinking, "I’m too young, I’m too healthy" and realize that "it could happen to somebody in your family.”

Sorry for the loss of your friend/co-worker.

You mentioned “Spring breakers”...did you see the possible spread map using cell phone location data?

Stop posting all this alarmist propaganda. Don’t you know this happens all the time with seasonal flu? /s

Give it a break. It's getting annoying.

Even with the best treatment people who are that old are high risk.

Without regard to the reason, that’s a heartbreaking experience for anyone. They looked to be relatively healthy for being in their 70’s.

This piece raises a lot of questions in my mind. Just curious if I'm the only one.

it's from ABC, a mouse corporation, so you can immediately assume it's full of lies.

As much as I hate to give them even one click, I went and checked the article. Two minutes at their web site and I could feel my IQ dropping. I left.

It put a question in my mind too.

Have ANY exceptions to the rule NOT been posted here??

Yeah healthy people who are not so old are gonna die from this thing here and there.

I’m not gonna open the story because I don’t care about it.

This is a HUGH and SERIES dem tactic.

Take the exception. Make it the norm when giving the msm their orders.

A black guy gets shot by police for the first time in 20 years in a certain neighborhood? It’s a sign of Chronic Racism in the police department.

One unusually warm day in fall or winter....Global Warming.

It’s what they do.

He signed papers transferring his parents to hospice care. That means removal of external supports. When my wife decided on hospice it meant she stopped all chemo for her cancer. This is no diffrrent.

You can get the story first hand from the victims’ son:

Also, a long-time FReeper worked with Buddy’s father Stewart for 20 years...see post #18 on this thread.

No problem. Young people recover quickly. And very few die from it,...

United States

Cases 244,826

Deaths 6,059

Recoveries 10,403

...except for the obese and sedentary ones. See the recoveries? That was fast!

Medicine has come so far that mild to moderate asthma isn’t even considered a major illness by many sufferers any more, just an inconvenience. Not unlike so many things in the modern world that people just don’t think about.

Thank you, and I’m sorry for his horrible loss. Many need to realize the seriousness of situation. Being unable to see the damage firsthand doesn’t mean that we won’t be affected by it.

the son can say anything he wants...who knows if the doc told him that.....the parents were relatively young and I think I would have given them a couple more days, but that's me...again, none of us were there.....

God bless them...

Like what kind of questions, pray tell?

Come on, now! Don't be coy? Tell us what kind of questions you mean.
