Only mabarker1 has known what has been going on and has kept his vow of science but the time has now come to fess up.
i have been fighting cancer since last October going thru chemo/radiation and then more chemo and it damn near killed me.
i have been in hospital three times this year, 8 then 10 then 21 days.
the first when my body had multiple organ system complications and shut down, then again with additional complications, the third time i had major abdominal surgery all stemming from the chemo/rad.
the surgery was small bowel to small bowel bypass of multiple small bowel obstructions, meaning most of my sm bowel no longer functions in the normal manner.
along with ulcerative colitis and decompensatied liver with acities i am not in the best of shape.
that said i will be less visible here from now on and will not be answering every ping or post to me, let alone on this thread, just know i am not ignoring you, simply not up to it.

This crappy disease can be fought. It takes a big toll, but the fight is important. We are valued by others and we need to keep our chin up.

i just had a colonoscopy/biopsy last week and the cancer is gone, even my bloodwork is coming back clean of cancer markers
chemo/radiation and more chemo was hell on earth, but it beats the alternative 8^)
thankx again, because prayer does work
