NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) - A supporter of President Donald Trump from Massachusetts has implemented extreme measures to protect his yard signs after he says several of them were stolen from his lawn.
While a Trump campaign sign on a lawn isn’t uncommon, one surrounded by electric wire fence is. But that’s what John Oliveria, a member of the New Bedford School Committee, has done at his home in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
“It’s a shame that I have to do this,” Oliveria said. “I believe in the president. Obviously, people didn’t like that.”

We have a local story like this, guy has cameras up.
Sadly, if some trespassing, Democrat thief has a heart attack touching the fence in the act of theft, the home owner is guilty of setting a trap. Civil and penal code liability will wipe the owner out.

Ill put my Trump signs inside my chicken coop/run. Gotta run the electric fences to control coyotes, and now BLM types.

I have put about 300 Trump signs in AZ. Almost all are gone in 1-3 days. 99% Placed signs on the same spot 3x times. I am trying to put some smear on them now, even this does not work. People had signs ripped off their private properties! Some hide them for night. Now people are installing cameras, so hopefully we will catch them!
Only Trump and McSally, the other Republicans seems more-less OK.
Apparently it is statewide. Looks like organized effort!

The electric fence seems like great idea! My late friend used to rise cows using electric fence. Once he got tangled in it and could not get rid of it. He commented that is was horrific pain, but no lasting damage.
Stealing any election sign is just plain stupid! I just don’t get it. sheesh
“I checked out the determination of the use of electricity on a fence for Massachusetts and their laws identify barbed wire and chicken wire as hazardous, but say very little about electric fencing. It appears to fall under the tort area or local laws. And each city will be different in most cases.

He’d definitely want to put a voltage reducer inline so the thief doesn’t get a full 110v or 220v, and a heart attack. 40-50v would be enough to deter.
