Who knows what is going on ,but when you get rid of 18 or more cruise ships people will lose their jobs.
Once again a cruise line is at the mercy of our CDC as to when they can start an income stream.
The creditors who loaned them BILLIONS will get antsy if they don't see an income stream for any business they have loaned money too. They dont want to get payed back with their loaned money and then have the company go broke and bankrupt before the creditors get all their loaned money back.
We will know about the CDC no-sail order for this country within a week or so. The present no sail order is thru Sept. 30th. -Tom
Companies legitimately worry about sabotage of their business by disgruntled former employees so you never know if Carnival is telling the truth about layoffs. -Tom
The Coronavirus pandemic hoax is the most catastrophic government bureaucrat-made disaster in history.
I predict 2021 will not be a good year for cruises, tourism, restaurants, concerts/entertainment, and real estate.
Trump wins, sabotage ensues.
Sad outcome, but it had to happen. That was obvious since April or May.
And it appears it is not going away this Autumn.
It appears to me it is ramping up.
We are all affected by covid -19. I have a routine lung test for Pulmonary Fibrosis in the hospital Thursday, but can't get in unless I have a Covid-19 test tomorrow. - Tom
Ditto! Fearpers even on this site have fallen for it.
Ushering in the Green New Deal.
Airlines are next.
Can you get a test at CVS? It’s a drive-thru test at the CVS near our house.
The hospital has set up by appointment a drive thru Covid test for me in an adjacent town. -Tom
The last thing a company wants is riot to break out on one of their ships, so telling them when they are home makes sense.
“It goes through air, Bob. Thats always tougher than the touch. The touch, you dont have to touch things, right? But the air, you just breathe the air and thats how its passed. And so thats a very tricky one. Thats a very delicate one. Its also more deadly than even your strenuous flus.
This is more deadly. This is 5% versus 1%, and less than 1%. So this is deadly stuff.
Now its starting out its not just all people, Bob. But just today and yesterday, some startling facts came out. Its not just old, older - Young people too. Plenty of young people.”
Not in the U.S.
New cases and new hospitalizations peaked in late April, then started a steady decline. They continued to decline after businesses started to reopen in early May and continued to decline after people crowded the beaches over the Memorial Day weekend.
Then the super-spreader mass protests and riots occurred at the beginning of June and within two weeks new cases and hospitalizations began to shoot back up. They continued to rise until they peaked again at the end of July and have fallen steadily ever since.
I hope your tests go well Tom. Your country needs you.
Second only to the false vetting of Barry Obummer as a US Citizen and fitness for POTUS.
For those who don’t know, Carnival is owned by the Multi Billionaire Richard Fain who is the Father In Law of Jesse Sharkey, the Communist Head of the Chicago Teachers Union.
Sharkey protests in the streets, calls for the destruction of America, then drives his Tesla to his high walled Mansion on Chicago’s Gold Coast.
So Sharkey calls for an annual Chicago teachers strike for “fair wages” while his father In Law lays off 1000’s of hard working employees...
Outstanding. Good luck!
I was anticipating an Autumn increase that would affect us. -Tom
a paragraph from the Motley Fool Sept. 2020-
Now here's the bad news: Over in Britain, the government's chief scientific advisor is warning that the U.K. faces a second wave of coronavirus that could see infections rise to 50,000 new cases per day by the middle of next month. The United Kingdom is bracing for a potential second lockdown of its economy, which would firstly deprive cruise lines of British passengers for the foreseeable future, and secondly perhaps foreshadow a renewal of lockdowns in the U.S. as well, depriving cruise lines of all passengers.
Yes. Best wishes to you...
This is such a shame. I dont know when this is going to end.
