To me, the most telling words Rush said were when he shared that he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That tells me he realizes the absolute seriousness of his situation, and is ready if the end is near. Lord willing, he may take a turn and have a few more years with us here. But he’s faced reality, and he’s ready for eternity. Praise Jesus for His mercy and grace.
Was this recent? I seem to remember him talking about believing in God in more general terms but not about believing in Jesus Christ.
