We stayed at Paragonia in April and really enjoyed great wide RV sites.

I liked Europe and the Middle East. But I don’t care how much money you have, spend it in America. The rest of the world is a dump, and it needs paint.

Nice! I was in Northern/Central AZ last month and loved the parks there, particularly Walnut Canyon up near Flagstaff and the Forest Service parks around Sedona in the Red Rocks area.

I visited some of the Southern AZ mission and presidio sites a couple of years ago, and I want to go back…so I’ll add these parks to my list for a bit of hiking, paddling, etc.

All State and National parks will soon be resettlement camps for new Democrat voters. It’s a model that’s worked wonders for The Party in California.

Much nicer is Woods Canyon/

https://www.outdoorproject.com/united-states/arizona/woods-canyon-lake

We used to go all the time. Camped once. I’m not a fan of camping but in the morning very early I unzipped the little tent door and only got as far as putting my head out and just a few feet in front of me were a family of elk. A male, a female and a baby, off in the distance, but only maybe 30 feet or so were more elk.

I was so startled it was almost nose to nose staring for a minute there and then they quietly turned and walked away looking back at me over their shoulders.

But then the ‘mom’ elk suddenly broke into this goofy little trot and lifted her head like a queen and shook her tail at me as she pranced off.

It was adorable.

In the early 1970’s I led about 30 Air National Guardsmen to a mountain top in the middle of the Sand Tank Mountains. It was restricted space in the middle of the Goldwater Bombing Range but open to us on the weekend. We conducted a radio communications exercise with a link back to Papago Park in Phoenix. There were concrete slabs on the mountain top which had been there since the 1950s. We sat around a campfire, drank a few beers, told stories, slept under the stars and marveled at how you could reach up and grab a star from the Heavens. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Arizona is drop dead gorgeous in many areas. Just stay away from the wilds along the border, the fraud PedoJoe bidet has left the border to the cartels.

Arizona is my state. I am a not young fourth generation on both sides of my family Arizonan. The first of my family here in 1880. I know it from corner to corner. I know its history in depth.

I have lived out of state for many years, but this state is home.

And it has changed. It is Blue. It is over run with Karens and cement slabs. It is hotter. The air is dirtier. The open spaces “managed” by bureaucrats.

The history is being twisted by the woke.

But come visit. Just please don’t stay if you are woke or blue.
