Fair warning:
Do NOT update passwords until advised by FR admins that the site is back to normal.
After seeing the raft of posts, I believe that the server was either mirrored or hijacked.
I just now recalled that about an hour or so ago my screen header said 'sign in'. I hit refresh a couple of times and didn't pay any attention to it.
I now believe that those who signed in exposed their accounts.

Same here. But I switched over to duckduckgo and just today was prompted to fireproof my passwords so I won’t have to log back in after cookie deletion.
Not so much lazy, as it is that your more apt to have your password stolen when you are constantly signing in.
If you are not always plugging it in manually it is less likely to be noticed.
Learned that years ago.
I have never ever had my sites hacked.
Now, that being said, watch my personal blogs and other information get hacked tomorrow,

Thanks for the reply. After I posted my message, I scrolled through the forum page, and saw a couple of posts by the Beau Bo mentioned as the hacker. I must have missed them earlier, as I only open threads that are of interest to me.
The actual interface has had the format change a few times through the years so nothing that far back could be accessed with the current interface.
It was wild. And continuous.

The porn video posted by the hacker was bad.
Wow. I made the mistake of clicking on fox and it sent me to porn hub.
If you are using a PC, always hover your cursor over a link and see if the revealed URL matches what it is supposed to be. These posts said FoxNews, but the URL was Porn Hub.
On a smartphone you hold your finger on the link and the URL will be revealed in a pop up.
I try to always do that.
The first one I saw was some silliness about the XBOX X.
Then a bizarre anti trans rant.
Then something about intimacy with a rat.
I have a tendency to miss all the deleted replies on threads too. All I see are the replies from people calling the person a jerk. Rarely get to see the comment that got deleted.
If FR is permitting non SSL connections, that could be a problem. Otherwise, the account theft would have to occur from within the FR environment.
It never dawned on me to sign in and out of my FR account. I have been signed in constantly with the same password since I joined 10 years ago.
My account appears to be ok. But I stuned my beeber as a precaution.
