The author describes his “crusade” to eliminate Freon from the hands of a few people on the Internet secondary market (for profit) as a holy calling to change the hearts and minds of the climate skeptics. I’m in Upstate NY. Used a small $15.00 turbo fan instead of air conditioning last year and this year. I’m 77. Never had ac until 1984. Figure I sc****** the utility company out of a few bucks.

I grew up without AC. It was some hot miserable summer nights covered with sweat trying to sleep I remember most. This was in the 50s and 60s before GoreBull worming. Nothing has changed…..including the high tide line at my favorite boat ramp.
