John Durham has informed the Department of Justice he will ask a grand jury to indict Michael Sussmann over his making a false statement to the FBI. The report cites "people familiar with the matter." Durham was assigned by then Attorney General Bill Barr in 2019 to investigate. Last December, Attorney General Barr elevated Durham's status to Special Counsel.

This explains the departure of Marc Elias from Perkins Coie a few weeks ago. He is probably going to be indicted also after Sussman makes a plea agreement.

Whether Durham comes up with anything or not, one thing I’ve learned during the past four years is never to give a statement to the FBI. If the FBI wants to interview you tell them you want an attorney present and a video tape running. It protects both parties. The practice of the FBI interviewing people and the agent writing a summary of the meeting which can be used to indict someone is a gross infringement on liberty.
I have most certainly been paying attention. For me to have not heard of him means he is a very, very minor player. I can name, at a minimum, 100 much more important players who have committed multiple felonies. I’m sure you do the same easily. This is a total and complete DS whitewashing. Any who’s been paying attention and didn’t absolutely know this was going to happen is a fool.
Sussman is a substantial player.
The problem isn’t indicting him, it’s that the statute of limitations is about to run out on the whole mess.
And that has to be explained to you!? From day one of Barr on the job it’s DS damage control and coverup. This is the final burying of multiple coup attempts, one being successful, the evidence of them and justice in America. In American history we have never seen such highly successful or more damaging treachery than Barr’s. The Rosenbergs are pikers compared to this DS snake.
So elections are rigged, the justice system is compromised, and the military generals aren’t under civilian/ constitutional control...

An FBI lawyer has a recollection that Sussmann said that he was not acting on behalf of any client when Sussman informed the FBI lawyer about some vague anti-Trump Russian computer evidence.
Sounds like there are no written notes, no audio, video, and no witnesses.

The coup against Trump was for all practical purposes completed in courts months before anyone received their first absentee ballot for the November election, the most overextended voting period in history. And, need I point out that the premise used to justify these fraudulent methods of voting was a very convenient covid virus.
